We enjoy spectacular sunsets over the sea throughout the year. We are set back about 200m from and 60m above the ocean and we look due North across the Atlantic toward Robben Island and beyond. On a very clear night one can just see the light from the Dassen Island Lighthouse which is off Ysterfontein 80km away! Directly in front of us is the rocky shoreline and there is an ever changing view of sealife and birdlife including whales and dolphins, many seals, and further out a parade of ships and fishing boats passing by.
Llandudno is a secluded bay surrounded by mountains. The area is serviced by ADT Security. The combination of the geography and the Security make Llandudno an extremely safe place to live. We have 2 of the best beaches in Cape Town and we often have Whales, Dolphins and Seals swimming on our doorstep. The main Llandudno beach is 2 minutes by car and 10 minutes by foot.
We are situated 20 minutes from central Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. The drive passes through Camps Bay and along the very scenic Victoria Road. In the other direction within a 5 minutes drive is Hout Bay, with its beach, shopping facilities, restaurants, fishing harbour and other amenities. Allow a 35 minutes drive to and from CT International airport.

Llandudno - Cape Town - South Africa:
Only 18 km from the centre of Cape Town and approached by one of the most scenic drives, over Suikerbossie Hill from Hout Bay or in the other direction from Camps Bay, along Victoria Road. Llandudno lies nestled in a private and peaceful cove with one of the most secluded and beautiful beaches in the city. Villas and self catering accommodation in this area are extremely limited and highly exclusive. Why, you may ask? Llandudno is an upmarket area renowned for being private and secure as it can only be accessed by one thoroughfare and has no commercial developments whatsoever in the enclave. Thus holiday makers seeking safe and private self catering Cape Town accommodation often secure their Llandudno accommodation well in advance of their visit.
The Twelve Apostles stretch off to one side, whilst Little Lion’s Head and the Karbonkelberg Mountain sweep off in the other direction. The beautiful beach, renowned for its white sands, crisp blue waters and giant boulders is arguably one of the most photogenic in Cape Town and a favourite for beach sports like volleyball, beach rugby, surfing; a great deal of sun-worshipping and a preferred picnic spot for families.
Llandudno Beach:
The beautiful white sand beach remains unspoiled and the unique Cape fynbos stretches off in both directions, largely untouched. A 20 minute walk from Llandudno Gem brings one to Sandy Bay, the famous nude beach, and a five minute drive takes you over the hill from Llandudno to the village of Hout Bay, where there are plenty of restaurants, shopping centres and other options for the whole family.
